31 Days of Methods In Madness Day 29 Book Focus

Today is day 29 in a series called 31 Days of Methods In Madness. I completed my organizational method of writing articles – the alphabet from A to Z. To read all the articles click here. Over the course of the next few days, I have some bonus material for you.

Have you ever wondered the extent of books focused on methods in madness? I wondered for you, especially since books are a passion of mine, and here are my results, in part:

A search on Amazon gave me 1,340, crazy right?  A search on Google gave me 7,920,000 results. Astronomical!! I’m dumbfounded really. By and large the books are non-fiction, and some results are other articles written about the subject. I think the majority of articles center on what people think of as dark writing, like Poe.

Perhaps one of the most engaging books is the one by acclaimed author and teacher, Rafe Esquith. The YouTube video below is an education book review.

Reviews of Esquith praise the honors he’s received from people such as Oprah Winfrey and the Dalai Lama. His book includes directions for classroom activities among other practical information. I can see the benefit of reading this as a homeschooling mom/teacher.
