I'm excited to introduce you to 5 of my favorite products every month. Some months may be items geared toward little ones; other months may be geared toward cleaning or gadgets or fashion, and more. Regardless of what the items are, you can be sure I'll only highlight items that I use and am excited about!
So without further ado, here are July's 5 Favorite Finds for 2014
Last year, at 3 years of age, my oldest started getting out of bed and coming into our room at all hours of the night. She suddenly became afraid of the dark. She'd also wake up at the crack of dawn expecting to start her day. Sound familiar? Well, I'll be honest and say I was skeptical that a clock would solve the problem; but for us it has! After a week of using this clock, she stayed in her bed until the light changed to indicate it was time to get up, and she lost her fear of the dark. Yay!
I LOVE these. I got one for my girls to draw on at quiet times (i.e. church) without making a mess. I ended up having to buy two; they didn't want to share, and a fight would have defeated the point of quiet time. 🙂 An added bonus is that both the harnessed "pin" and slider are quiet too.
This is an excellent teether/gum massager; gets to those hard to reach teeth & gums. I also used it to successfully wean my oldest off her night time pacifier. I'm currently using it to wean my youngest off her pacifier. It seems to provide that "oral fix" as it were, without the sucking, until the need dissipates on its own.
This activity timer has really helped to cut down on unfocused and unruly behavior in our household. I've used it for time-out's yes, but it serves so many more purposes. I can set it for a yellow "warning/caution" light so my girls know time is nearly up for a certain activity or chore, eating dinner, getting ready for bed . . . the list goes on. The timer speaks for me to keep my girls focused, motivated and prepared for transitions.
This Sock Monkey is so cute. I got one for our household and as a gift. It's only about 14 inches tall. It comes in different colors and patterns than what's seen here (stripes, polka dots, zig zags, solids). There are magnets sewn into the hands and feet so it can "hang out" wherever you choose. The hat and scarf are removable. All around fun!
I hope you benefit from these products as we have. Be sure to check back next month to see what exciting products I've found.
