Wine & Food Pairings
What’s the saying…Oh yeah, “The most expensive part of having kids is all the wine you have to drink.”
There might be something said for that; I didn’t really appreciate wine until after I had children. 🙂
All kidding aside, I don’t care much for alcohol in general. Beer is not to my taste, neither are mixed drinks unless it’s a White Russian. So when I want a drink, wine is what I choose.
I’m not a wine connoisseur by nature. As we were able to entertain more, I decided to do research and find out which food paired the nicest with what wine. So today let’s take a look into the art of wine and food pairings with a couple side by side infographics:
Wine & Food Pairing Infographics
It’s not always easy to remember the best pairings. And with a long list, it can get all jumbled around. To solve both those dilemmas, I chose the infographic organization method. There are two infographics below. One is for white wine, the other for red. Now you can easily keep them separated.
While there are more types of wines than those I’ve listed, these seem to be the most popular at the moment. In the future, I may add a couple more that are for pairings between wine & cheese or wine & dessert.
We’re coming up on another season of entertaining. Pin these infographics or print them out to simplify your next dinner party or gathering.
Bon appetite
