Today is day 28 in a series called 31 Days of Methods In Madness. I completed my organizational method of writing articles – the alphabet from A to Z. To read all the articles click here. Over the course of the next few days, I have some bonus material for you.
Have you ever wondered the extent of music focused on methods in madness? I wondered for you and here are my results, in part:
A search on Amazon gave me 87 results. A search on Google gave me 980k results. Outstanding!! Now granted, some of the Google results may be strictly digital results, but not necessarily music. I still consider the results exceptional, and it tells me a little something about the psyche of the human race. 😉
One of the results in music that I found most intriguing was this song from the Bee Gees. The Bee Gees are known for their disco hits. This song Method to my Madness from 1973 is a true departure from disco, some may say it’s a little dark. Interestingly, it was a hit overseas while in the U.S. it is obscure. Take a listen, you may find yourself as intrigued as I.
