Affiliate Disclosure
April 1, 2013 – current
Recently, the Federal Trade Commission released new rules for Disclosure Compliance. These rules are to ensure that readers or viewers of web media such as blogs, YouTube videos, and the like are made aware if the blogger/presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company.
In other words, you as the reader need to know if this website or the owner of this website is making money by sharing a link, product, or service.
There are costs associated with running and maintaining this website. In compliance with the, FTC guidelines, I’ve listed here many ways in which I offset such costs:
- Some links on mommymethodology.com are affiliate links. This means that if you click on the link and buy certain items, I will receive a small commission. This does not increase your price though!
- If I post an affiliate link to a product, it is something that I personally use, support, and/or would recommend without an affiliate link.
- I sometimes am asked to review products for affiliates. I am not paid cash compensation for this form of sponsorship. Any compensation that may be received will never influence the content, topics, or posts made in this blog. All of my opinions regarding these products are my own. I only endorse products, services, or sites that I believe are worthy of such endorsements and would be of value to my readers. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
- All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third-party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements (i.e. google ads).
Amazon Disclosure
I participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties including, but not limited to amazon.com, endless.com, myhabit.com, smallparts.com, or amazonwireless.com.
Mommymethodology.com is a personal website with all content written and edited by me. It does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest. For questions about this website, please contact mommymethodology@gmail.com.
